Step 1: Logging In

1. Determine your Username and Password
Credit Students:

     Before you can log in to Blackboard, you need your 7-digit student ID number.
      * printed on your student ID card - available from Campus Security
      * on the top left corner of your registration form
      * on all other official college documents
     NON-Credit Students:
     * Continuing Education Students - Look up your username and password

* Adult HS/Basic Skills/ESL Students - Contact your instructor

Username = student’s last name, first initial, last 4 digits of student ID number (no spaces)
Initial Password = 6 digit birth date (MMDDYY)

2. Access Blackboard: http://blackboard.durhamtech.edu/
   Enter your username and password.
